eyeTunes: Celebrity Sunday 2

. . . Another Holler-Day album that should be seen and NOT heard. . .

Critics said this is the best Christmas album Slim Pickens NEVER made!

Please note… Ernest is not smiling… He is laughing at his own album… And laughing all the way to the bank!

  1. I loved Ernest and the PT boat crew. Oh, what fun that was!

Now that cat album needs to find it’s way into my Christmas stocking! Too darn cute…both of ’em.🎡🎡🎡🎡

    • Do you remember Ernest Borgnine in his academy award winning role “Marty”? All I can say is wow! He was so great in everything! He is definitely one of my favorites. He also seems like a very likable person in real life. This Christmas album, however, has me scratching my head… It makes almost as much sense as the Buffalo Tom and Gunther Christmas album. πŸ™‚

      • Thanks for the movie info. After reading the plot line on Wikipedia I am going to have to locate it and watch it. Hope you are ready to chime the bells for Christmas. I’ve one or two things to wrap and then I’ ready.

      • You will definitely like “Marty”. Turner Classic Movies shows it quite often. On the TCM website, I think they have a search engine that will tell you when the movie will air next.
I am definitely ready for Christmas, I don’t let holidays stress me out anymore. I know my limits and I don’t allow myself to fret over them anymore. πŸ™‚ I hope your Christmas is peaceful and wonderful!

      • I’m learning to not allow the holiday to the point where i realize the true meaning behind it all. Our lives have challenges in them without adding more. Used to bake alot more, now my friends and i gather to enjoy coffee or tea. This allows us to unwind and catch our breath.

    • Happy holidays, Alastair! The 1 thing I like about Ernest Borgnine’s christmas album is… It took me completely by surprise when I found this photo of it… Which made me laugh right out loud… That’s the joy of Christmas. πŸ™‚

    • Hahaha! Our interpretation of the Nutcracker was spectacular! Me and Gunther dumped out a 100 lb sack of walnuts on the stage and pulverize them with hammers. Theater critics praised our literal translation of the ballet’s theme because it perfectly expressed the inherent frustration we all feel during the Holler-Day Season. πŸŽ„πŸ˜’πŸ˜¨πŸŽ…
