    • Lol! It should be a natural graduation process… Kids start out in the trunk until they earn the privilege of sitting quietly in the backseat and then someday… If they are really good they can sit in the front seat and maybe even drive! Setting realistic goals is the secret to successful parenting. Lol!👍😨😝

      • Oh Iggy, you are spot on!

On a side note…My father retired from the Navy. He was stationed at Port Isabel, TX. He drove an Edsel, there were five children in the family at the time. He had a game plan and he strategically implemented it. We were told to keep our hands to ourselves, trade places riding on the hump of the floorboard in the back and the first one to squeal, cry out, or become disorderly he would pull the car to the side of the road and throw us in a pile of quicksand.

It took two full days to reach our destination of Northern, Colorado. Somehow none of us came up missing.

      • Lol! I also believed that my parents were not beyond leaving me on the side of the road. I think this is another key to good parenting…when children believe their parents are capable of unspeakable acts! the Rattlebottom’s are strict disciplinarians whereas the Bunn’s believe in child psychology and talking to kids until they behave due to sheer boredom.👍:o🙊🙉🙈
